Routing & laser marking success Paul Kuznecovs, front, with Dmitry Gurov. Together the pair run CNC It Now, importing high quality CNC routing & laser marking equipment from China's Alpha CNC CNC It Now (https://cncitnow. com) is a company with an unusual history and proposition. Set up in 2016 by Paul Kuznecovs, who came to the UK from Latvia at the age of 22 with £50 in his pocket in 2001, the company today offers laser marking/ engraving machines and CNC wood routers sourced in China, as well as offers engraving and marking services using the machines. Following Latvia joining the EU in 2004, Kuznecovs initially set up a business helping those in search of work from Eastern Europe to live and work in the UK. While helping to provide skilled workers to a kitchen manufacturing company, Kuznecovs made friends with Dmitry Gurov, an intelligent and skilled individual, passionate about CNC equipment and woodworking. So, when the kitchen maker went bust, it did not take long for the pair to set up CNC It Now. And the Brexit vote added extra impetus for Kuznecovs to diversify his activity. What makes CNC It Now different from other companies offering wood engraving or CNC cutting services is that it says it found a reliable partner in China that can supply low-cost CNC woodworking machinery and the router bits necessary to provide high quality services. Kuznecovs and Gurov were so impressed with the quality and reliability of the supplied kit that they broadened their offering, taking in Alpha CNC laser marking machines, in addition to the CNC woodworking equipment. Located in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province, Alpha CNC was established in 2000 and has supplied more than 3,000 CNC router and CNC laser marking/ engraving machines to more than 50 countries. Its products are widely used in the fields of advertising, furniture, gifts, decoration, packaging etc, with materials such as wood, acrylic, stone, fabric, leather and metal tackled. CNC It Now adopts an innovative approach to selling its CNC equipment; it offers three ways to purchase: purchasing brand new equipment here in the UK, with CNC It Now responsible for delivery, installation, training and warranty; buying here in the UK low usage and fully tested second-hand CNC equipment; or buying directly from the Chinese supplier, via a reliable and tested route, achieving greater savings.
